First Post from Mom and Dad
Dear family, We are here. Still the time change. We were set apart yesterday. Great experience in the temple. This temple is beautiful. I'll post more later today. Love you all.
(This is next section is taken from Facebook, as shared by Cameron. Anything shared on Facebook I will post here so we can keep it centrally located.)
We are here. We arrived after a 5:30 hour layover that was only supposed to be a 2 hour layover in Atlanta. We had supper with President Duffin and wife and the other couple that came with us, the Gilgens. In the evening we went on walk-about with the Leathems which means a 2 to3 mile neighborhood jaunt to Chinos, and two and grocery stores. Saturday we were set apart and then off to downtown Madrid to dinner and a stroll of downtown with the Waites, another 3 miles. We went by bus and came home by subway, which was packed! Today we went to church and then home. Your father went to the airport with Brother Waite. He was renting a car, so your dad wanted to learn the subway route and the process. I had a nap. Tonight we had our quarterly training meeting from 6:30 to 9:00. Home at 9:30. Making a grocery list so we can buy necessities. Tomorrow is our p-day. Tomorrow we will wash clothes and shop and try to organize the apartment. Tuesday morning we start in the temple. Dressed and ready by 7:00 a.m. Oh, don't forget that everything is in Spanish. Mom understands nothing. We are tired, but excited about the opportunities. The spirit is very strong in this temple. We love you all.

And So it Begins, or a Note from Megan
Hello, family!
Mom and I had talked about setting up a private family blog so she can send emails and pictures and we have a central location to access them. I'm keeping it simple, since that's about all I can handle right now, but I want to make sure that everyone who would like to be notified of a new post can be. So put email addresses of those I missed in the comments so I can add them and we can be one big happy family! :)
Love to you all, and I look forward to connecting with you as Mom and Dad start on their grand adventure!
